Zauberpiano Tape Felt, a soft and atmospheric felt piano from the Zauber Series by Overstratum Audio, recorded at Versilian Studios.
The instrument has a warm, intimate character that comes from the combination of the felt piano sound and the natural imperfections of the tape recording. The subtle tape noises are baked directly into the instrument, giving it an organic, slightly vintage feel rather than an overly clean or sterile sound.

The piano was recorded at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz, providing detailed, high-quality source material while keeping the instrument efficient and practical for everyday use.
Zauberpiano Tape Felt is especially well suited for gentle, emotional and cinematic music. It can easily work on its own as a solo piano, but it also fits nicely into larger arrangements and can be used as a subtle accompaniment alongside a full orchestra.
The effects
The instrument comes with 10 integrated IR reverbs, giving you a range of different spaces to shape the overall atmosphere. A tempo-synced delay is also included for adding movement and depth to the sound. For more experimental applications, the Glide function opens up additional possibilities for creating unusual and interesting sound designs.
The interface also provides straightforward controls for Attack, Release, Low Cut, High Cut and Pan, allowing you to quickly adjust the response, tone and stereo placement of the instrument without overcomplicating things.
Despite its detailed and flexible sound, Zauberpiano Tape Felt is designed to be very lightweight. It uses 6 modeled velocity layers, which keeps both the required disk space and system resources remarkably low.
