Need massive cinematic drums without the usual hassle of complex routing and layering? Meet your new go-to percussion library for Decent Sampler (a fantastic free sampler available for Windows, Mac, and Linux). This virtual instrument is designed for instant epicness and ultra-fast workflow.
Inside, you get a carefully curated arsenal: a massive Boom, three Downers, three Risers, three Big Toms, two Stick clicks, and a solid Cymbal hit. To keep things sounding natural and huge out of the box, the toms, sticks, and cymbals are pre-layered and feature 8 round robins. Just hit one key, and you trigger an entire ensemble of heavy percussion.
The real magic happens with your modwheel. You can seamlessly ride the dynamics from soft, suspenseful hits all the way up to highly saturated, room-shaking cinematic strikes that cut right through any dense mix. You can further tweak your sound using the 16 built-in IR reverbs, a tempo-synced delay, glide for experimental sound design, plus simple envelope and filter controls.
